Nice to meet you…

I am, at my core, a creator. Very neurotic and meticulous. I am very much still learning though… at everything, life included, and I think it’s important to never be content with the knowledge and skill you have but constantly strive to be better…

With that being said, Thank You for visiting my site to witness how I keep trying to achieve that through various mediums.

And a short, actual biography about me … I attended Pratt Institute in Brooklyn and received a BFA with a concentration in ceramic sculpture in 2007. At the time, I wanted to be an Art Teacher and went on to receive a Master’s in Art Edu from The College of Saint Rose in 2010. Obviously, that never happened.

In my head, I would love to do everything and anything creative… from tattooing all of you, to making every Christmas gift from scratch, pretending to cook well enough to be best friends with Gordan Ramsey, a wedding or event/interior decorator (swoon), all while having enough time to paint a mural on every wall.

I can’t cook like that, but I’m going to keep giving it a go (along with everything else). Your support has always been noticed and appreciated. Special thanks to my closest humans, especially my wife, Darcy, who inspires me daily and poses for me when I need reference photos and to vent about my day, our beautiful, baby girl, Indigo (yes, the shop’s namesake), who reminds me to be kind and grateful for this life… and my ridiculous dog Cali Roc. There is valued support and advice from multiple other friends, clients and family who have encouraged me relentlessly and I can’t thank you enough.

It’s nice to meet you and in the words of Ellen, “Be kind to one another.”
